Service center management software that runs every job, part and technician

Quikpair is service center management software that runs every repair job, spare part and technician from one screen. It takes a device in on a job card, assigns it to a technician, tracks it through nine statuses, bills the parts and service, and reports on what each technician completed. It works in the browser and in native Android and iOS apps.

Three problems every service centre runs into

A busy service centre loses time in the same three places. Devices sit at Waiting Parts and nobody notices until the customer calls. The front desk cannot tell which technician has which job. And at month end nobody can say which jobs actually earned money, because finished work, delivered work and paid work are mixed together.

Quikpair answers each one with something specific: an aging analysis on the Repair by Status report, an Assign To field and a Repair by Technician report, and a rule that only Delivered repairs count as repair revenue.

How a repair flows through Quikpair in a service centre

The front desk opens Repairs, taps New, and picks or creates the customer. Only Brand, Item and Issues are required, so intake is fast. The technician can fill in the rest later with Edit. One job card can hold several devices, each with its own serial number or IMEI, photos (up to 10 per device), issues and costs.

The job is assigned to a technician under Assign To, with an Expected Completion Date. It then moves through the repair statuses: In Store, Pending, In Progress, Waiting Parts, Ready for Pickup, Completed, Delivered, Returned Without Service or Cancelled. Each status change can carry a note and photos, which land on the repair's Activity Timeline with who did what and when.

At handover, the Delivered status sets the final Service Cost and discount, and Update & Pay opens payment collection straight away. The job then goes read-only.

Technician assignment and repair tracking

Every repair shows its assigned technician, or Unassigned if nobody has it yet. The repair list filters by assigned technician, status, payment status, date range and issues, and status tabs give a quick view of everything at Waiting Parts or Ready.

Repair by Technician ranks the workshop by jobs completed and their value. Repair by Status shows how many jobs sit at each stage and how long they have been there, which is how forgotten devices get found.

Spare parts, stock and purchasing for a service center ERP

Parts are added to a job from stock or typed in free, each with quantity, cost and tax, and they add to the job total. The inventory module tracks SKUs, barcodes, serialised stock, low-stock alert levels and cost batches with a weighted-average cost.

The Low Stock report lists everything at or below its alert level and can raise a purchase order from it. Stock goes up when a purchase is received, and supplier bills, payments and returns are kept in Purchases.

Frequently asked questions

What is service center management software?

Service center management software tracks every device a service centre takes in, from the job card to handover and payment. Quikpair does this with repair job cards, technician assignment, nine repair statuses, parts from stock, payment collection and reports such as Repair by Technician and Repair by Status.

Can I see which technician is working on each repair?

Yes. Each Quikpair repair has an Assign To field and shows Unassigned until someone is given the job. The repair list filters by assigned technician, and the Repair by Technician report ranks technicians by jobs completed and value.

How do I find repairs stuck waiting for parts?

Use the Waiting Parts tab on the Repairs list, or run the Repair by Status report in Quikpair. That report shows how many jobs are at each status with an aging analysis of how long they have been there.

Does Quikpair count a repair as revenue when it is completed?

No. Quikpair counts repair revenue only from the Delivered status, using the delivery date. A job left at Completed has been finished in the workshop but will not appear in earnings until it is marked Delivered.

Can a service center with several branches use Quikpair?

Yes. A group admin adds branches in Branch Management, each with its own admin login, and staff switch the active branch from the profile menu. Reports can be run per branch.
