Repair shop reports for profit, dues, stock and technicians
By Thamjeed Lal, Founder · Published by ATSCOM Technology Experts LLP · Updated
Quikpair includes around 40 repair shop reports, searchable from one hub, covering money, sales, purchases, stock, repairs, tax and the rest of the business. Every report takes a date range and exports to CSV, and each one is permission-gated, so staff only see the figures they should.
Profit and loss report and the money reports
Profit & Loss puts income against expenses to give the figure the business actually made. Alongside it sit Cash Flow, Outstanding, Day Book, Cash Book and Bank Book. Profit & Loss counts a repair from its delivery date, which is why marking jobs Delivered matters.
Outstanding payments report
The Outstanding report lists what is owed to you and what you owe, with aging analysis of outstanding payments. On the desktop layout, Remind on a row sends a payment reminder from your saved template by WhatsApp or SMS, so chasing a balance starts from the report that lists it.
Customer Ledger and Supplier Ledger show every transaction with one party and a running balance, which is the document to send when a balance is disputed.
Repair and technician reports
Repair Summary counts jobs and revenue over a period. Repair by Status shows how many jobs sit at each stage, with an aging analysis that finds devices that have sat at Waiting Parts for weeks. Repair by Technician ranks the workshop by jobs completed and value, and Staff Commission works out what each person is owed, with Record Payout to settle it.
Sales, purchase, stock and tax reports
Each area of the business has its own set of reports, all built from the entries your team makes every day.
- Sales: summary, by product, by customer, by payment method, performance and returns.
- Purchases: summary, by product, by supplier, by payment method, performance and returns.
- Inventory: stock summary, movement, valuation, aging and low stock, with Generate PO on Low Stock.
- Tax: tax summary, sales tax with a breakdown by rate, purchase tax, expense tax and tax liability.
- Also rent (summary, utilisation, overdue), lanes and used devices.
Exporting reports and controlling who sees them
Every report exports to CSV for the date range you chose, ready for a spreadsheet or your accountant. Reports are permission-gated individually, so a role can see stock reports without seeing profit, and multi-branch businesses can run reports per branch.
