Repair shop inventory management software for parts, serials and barcodes

Quikpair’s repair shop inventory management software keeps count of what you sell, what you fit on repairs and what is on the shelf. Products carry an SKU, barcode, category, brand, cost and selling price, tax, unit and a low-stock alert level, and serialised products are followed unit by unit from purchase to sale.

Spare parts inventory software for the workshop and the counter

Add Product creates a physical item with stock or a service, which holds none. Leave the SKU empty and Quikpair generates one. Price Summary shows what the customer pays and the margin before you save, and the unit can be Pieces, Kilogram, Liter, Meter or Hour.

Parts fitted on a repair can be picked from stock, and Product History lists every purchase, sale, repair and adjustment that changed a product’s stock figure, with the party, reference, quantity and unit price.

Barcode stock management and labels

Products can be found by name, SKU or barcode, or by scanning the item. Print barcode prints labels for one product, and Bulk Label Printing on the products list prints for several at once, using the sticker layout you design under Settings. The layout editor lets you choose which fields appear, from the price to the number below the barcode.

Serial numbers for every unit

Switch on Track by serial numbers and Quikpair follows individual units rather than a quantity. Serial numbers arrive when you receive a purchase, or Add serial numbers enters them by hand for stock you already had. Each unit shows In Stock, Sold or Returned, and a sale or return asks which units are moving, so a warranty claim can be answered months later.

Cost batches and stock value

Each delivery is kept as its own cost batch with its purchase date, unit cost and remaining quantity, and the product shows a Weighted Avg Cost and Inventory Value. Buy the same part at two prices and the two are kept apart, so profit is worked out against what you really paid. Selling Performance shows units sold, the average, highest and lowest price and the gross profit.

Stock adjustment, low-stock alerts and reordering

Adjust stock corrects a count, writes off breakages or books in something found, with a reason and a note that the stock history shows later. Current and After show the count before and after you save.

A product at or below its Low Stock Alert level appears on the Low Stock report, and Generate PO turns that list into a purchase order. Settings also decides whether a sale may go through on negative stock.

Frequently asked questions

How does serial-number tracking work in Quikpair?

Mark a product as serialised with Track by serial numbers. Serial numbers are captured when stock is received and chosen when it is sold or returned, so every unit is traceable.

Can I import my existing stock into Quikpair?

Yes. Bulk Import Products takes a CSV file of up to 10MB, with column documentation and an example row. Import Results names any row that failed rather than skipping it.

Does Quikpair warn me when stock is low?

Yes. Each product has a Low Stock Alert level. Products at or below it show under the Low Stock filter and on the Low Stock report, where Generate PO raises a purchase order for them.

How do I add a product in Quikpair?

Open Products and tap Add Product, choose the type, add the name, SKU, barcode, category and brand, set the cost and selling price and tax, then the initial stock and low-stock level, and save. The full steps are in the Add a product guide under Products & inventory.
