Van sales software for routes, stops and payment collection

Quikpair’s van sales software, called Lanes, is for businesses that go to the customer instead of waiting for them. You build a lane, a route of customer stops, assign field reps to it, follow it on a map, and collect payments or make sales at each stop. The Lanes report shows what each route and each rep collected.

Route sales app: building a lane

Add Lane takes a lane name, a code and a description, then Add stops and Select Customers to pick everyone on the round. Optimise puts the stops in the shortest driving order, or you can reorder them yourself. Under Field reps you assign the staff who run it.

Optimising needs the stops to have map locations, which are saved on each customer record with Map Location. A lane can be edited, re-optimised or set inactive when the round stops running.

Field sales route planning on the map

Open route in Maps starts the round. You choose where to begin: Nearest stop to me, First stop or Pick a stop, and a round already under way offers Resume route from where it reached. The route is handed to your phone’s Google Maps in legs, because Google Maps takes only a few stops per link.

Show nearby surfaces the nearest customer as you move, so a stop can be served out of order. The lane lists the stops in order with what each customer owes, and Route due totals it.

Collecting and selling at each stop

Collect on a stop takes a payment, with Full or Half to fill the amount, and records which account it went into. Add sale opens a sale with that customer already chosen, and the lane is attached to the sale, so the day can be reconciled by lane and by rep.

Lane reports by route, rep and payment method

The Lanes report shows what was collected on each round, broken down by route, rep, customer and payment method. Split by payment account separates cash in the van from transfers straight to the bank, and Share on WhatsApp sends the report to an owner checking the day from elsewhere.

Frequently asked questions

Does Quikpair support van sales or route sales?

Yes. The Lanes module builds sales routes from your customers as map stops, assigns field reps, opens multi-stop navigation in Google Maps, shows nearby customers, and lets reps collect payments and make sales at each stop.

Does Quikpair plan the route order?

Yes. Optimise puts a lane’s stops in the shortest driving order, as long as each stop’s customer has a map location saved.

Can I see what each rep collected?

Yes. The Lanes report breaks collections down by route, rep, customer and payment method, and can be filtered to one rep.

How do I create a van sales route in Quikpair?

Open Lanes and tap Add Lane, set the lane name and code, tap Add stops to select customers, tap Optimise or reorder the stops, assign field reps, and save. The full steps are in the Create a lane guide under Lanes.
