GST billing software for repair shops

Quikpair is GST billing software for repair shops in India that bills repairs and counter sales on GST invoices from the same app. Tax is set per product, inclusive or exclusive, shown on every invoice line, and summed in tax reports broken down by rate. Invoices print on A4 or an 80mm thermal printer, or go to the customer as a WhatsApp link.

How GST is set up in Quikpair

Each product or service in Products & inventory carries its own tax rate, marked inclusive or exclusive. An inclusive price already contains the tax, so Quikpair works back to the net figure instead of adding tax on top. On a sale, tax can still be changed per line.

Repair parts carry their own cost and tax when they are added to a job, and purchase lines take tax per line as well, so tax paid to suppliers is recorded alongside tax collected.

GST invoice format for repair shops

A Quikpair invoice uses your company header, footer and terms from Settings, and shows the tax on each line. Business customers are saved with their business name and GST number, and suppliers with their tax or GST number. Document numbering is set per document type with a prefix and a format that can include the year and month.

Invoices print as a Thermal receipt (80mm) or an Invoice (A4). A draft prints as a quotation. A sent invoice cannot be edited or deleted; it is corrected with a sale return, so the GST record stays intact.

CGST, SGST and IGST in Quikpair

Under GST, an intra-state sale is taxed as CGST plus SGST, and an inter-state sale as IGST. In Quikpair each tax is set up under Taxes with its type — CGST, SGST or IGST — and a composite tax groups its parts, so 18% GST can be set up as CGST 9% plus SGST 9%.

The tax is applied on each invoice line, and the Sales Tax report breaks the tax you collected down by rate, so the figures for your GST return come straight from your bills.

GST reports

Payments, UPI and outstanding bills

After checkout the payment collector opens, so the money is taken before the customer leaves, by cash, card, UPI, bank transfer or cheque. Part payments are allowed and the invoice keeps showing the balance due. The Outstanding report lists what customers still owe.

Indian plans are priced in INR on the India pricing page, and every new business gets a 14-day free trial with no card required.
