How to create a sale in Quikpair
Ring up a customer at the counter and take the money in one go.
Steps
- Open Sales and tap New — or long-press Sales in the bottom bar to jump straight in.
- Tap Select customer and pick one — or Walk-in Customer for a passing trade. A customer is required: Complete Sale stays disabled until the sale has one and at least one product.

- 1 Select customer
- 2 Scan Barcode
- Add products: tap one from the grid, search by name or SKU, or tap Scan Barcode.
- Narrow the grid with the category buttons above it if you would rather browse than search.
- Adjust each line if you need to — quantity, unit price, discount and tax are all editable per line.
- For a serialised product, pick which units are going out. You cannot finish until every serialised line has its units chosen.
- Open the cart to set an order-level discount — the % and ₹ buttons switch between a percentage and a fixed amount — and add a note.
- Tap Complete Sale. The payment collector opens so you can take the money now.

- 1 Save Draft
- 2 Complete Sale
- Print a thermal receipt or an A4 invoice, or share the invoice link by WhatsApp or SMS.
Good to know
- Not ready to finish? Save Draft parks the cart under Drafts — see Save a sale as a draft.
- If the sale would put the customer past their credit limit, Quikpair shows Credit limit exceeded. It is a warning, not a block — you can still complete the sale.
- Current dues on the side panel shows what they already owe before this sale, which is the number to look at before extending more credit.
- On a desktop keyboard, F8 saves a draft and F9 completes the sale.
- For a cash sale to someone you are not putting on file, tap Walk-in Customer at the top of the picker. It selects a shared Walk-in Customer record, so the sale still has a customer without you typing one in.
