How to add a commission agent to a sale, repair or rent order in Quikpair
Record who referred the customer, so the agent earns their cut on that job.
Steps
- Start a sale, a repair or a rent order as usual and pick the customer.
- Find Commission agent — on the side panel on a desktop, or the Agent chip in the cart and the section on the form on a phone. It reads No commission until you add one.
- Tap + Add agent and search by name or phone. Only customers marked as agents appear.
- Pick the agent. Their default % fills in, and the commission amount shows beside it — change the % for this job if you agreed a different rate.
- If this customer was credited to an agent before, a blinking Last used suggestion shows the agent and their %. Tap Use to apply it, or the × to dismiss it. Quikpair never adds an agent on its own.
- Finish the sale, repair or rent order as normal. The agent can be added, changed or removed later from Edit.
Good to know
- Commission is worked out before tax: on a sale, on the subtotal after the invoice discount; on a repair, on the service cost; on a rent order, on the rental subtotal after the order discount.
- When it counts: a sale earns straight away; a repair only once it is Delivered; a rent order once it is Confirmed. A repair that is Returned or Cancelled, or a cancelled rent order, earns nothing.
- Returns and refunds reverse the commission on the part given back, so the agent is only paid on what the customer kept.
- The commission is shown on the sale, repair or rent order page for your staff, but it is never printed on the customer’s invoice or job card.
