How to deliver a repair and collect payment in Quikpair
Close the job, set the final price and take payment — without leaving the status box.
Steps
- Open the repair and tap Status.
- 1 Pending
- Choose Delivered.
- Set the delivery date and time — this is the date the job counts from in your reports.
- Mark whether the job was resolved.
- Set the Service Cost, and a Discount if you are giving one. The summary underneath shows what the customer owes.
- Add a note, and a photo of the device going out if you keep those.
- Tap Update & Pay — the status saves and payment collection opens straight away.
- 1 Update & Pay
- Take the amount, choose the method and the account, and Collect. Collect & Print gives them a receipt at the same time.
Good to know
- Delivered is the status your earnings are built on — the dashboard and the repair reports count a job from its delivery date, so a finished job sitting at Completed is invisible to them.
- Update alone, without Pay, is fine when the customer already paid or is paying later.
- Delivered is terminal: the job goes read-only afterwards, so get the service cost right before you save.
