How to delete a repair payment in Quikpair
Undo a payment recorded against the wrong job, account or amount.
Steps
- Open the repair and tap Pay to open the payment box.
- 1 Payment
- The payments already taken are listed underneath.
- Tap Delete payment — the bin beside the wrong one. Delete All clears every payment on the job at once.
- 1 Delete payment
- Quikpair asks to confirm on a Delete Payment box — it cannot be undone.
- Confirm.
Good to know
- The money comes back out of the payment account it landed in, and the balance due goes back up.
- This is for correcting a mistake. Money actually going back to the customer is a refund — see Refund a repair.
- A payment also blocks some status changes and blocks deleting the job, which is the other reason you may need to clear one.
