How to edit a sale line item in Quikpair

Price, quantity, tax and discount are all editable per line — before the invoice is issued.

Steps

1. Add the product, then work on its row.

   

2. Set the quantity with Increase and Decrease, or type it.
3. Change the unit price if this customer is paying something different.
4. Pick the tax on that line, or No Tax.
5. Add a per-line discount if only that item is discounted — an order-level discount goes in the cart instead.
6. Line note adds a line of text that prints on the invoice under the item.
7. Remove line takes it off the sale.

Good to know

• A line marked incl is tax inclusive: the price you typed already contains the tax, so Quikpair works back to the net figure rather than adding tax on top. Get it wrong and the invoice is out by the tax.
• A service product behaves the same way but holds no stock, so it never blocks a sale for being out of stock.
• Last line marks the row you are on, so the keyboard can move between rows without the mouse.
