How to return a device without service in Quikpair

The job is not going ahead — hand the device back and close the card properly.

Steps

1. Open the repair.
2. If the customer has already paid, refund them first — tap Refund and give back the full amount.

3. Quikpair then asks whether to update the status. Tap Update Status and it opens the status change with Returned Without Service already chosen.
4. If nothing was paid, tap Status, choose Returned Without Service, and Update Status.

5. Write a note saying why the device is going back, and mark the job as not resolved.
6. Save, then hand the device over and send the customer a WhatsApp update.

Good to know

• Returned is a terminal status — the job goes read-only, so refund before you return, not after.
• Use Cancelled instead when the job never started; Returned means you looked at the device and are giving it back unrepaired.
• Returned jobs stay on the list under the Returned tab, so the history is kept rather than deleted.
