How to add a product in Quikpair

Put something new on the shelf — or add a service you charge for.

Steps

  1. Open Products and tap Add Product.

  2. Choose the Type: a physical item with stock, or a service, which holds none.
  3. Add an Image, the name, and the SKU — leave the SKU empty and Quikpair generates one. Add the barcode if the product carries one.

    • 2 COST PRICE
  4. Pick a category and brand — you can create either without leaving the form.
  5. Under Pricing, set the Cost Price and the selling price, pick the tax, and say whether the tax is included in the selling price or added to it.
  6. Price Summary shows what the customer pays and the Margin you are making, so a bad price is obvious before you save.
  7. Set the unit — Pieces, Kilogram, Liter, Meter or Hour.
  8. Under Stock Management, set the Initial Stock and the Low Stock Alert level.

    • 1 LOW STOCK ALERT
    • 2 Track by serial numbers
  9. Switch on Track by serial numbers if you follow this product unit by unit.
  10. Leave it Active (Available for sale) and save.
