How to set up a commission agent in Quikpair

Pay a referral commission to the person who brings you customers — a dealer, a middleman or a regular who sends work your way.

Steps

1. An agent is an ordinary customer record. Add them as a customer first if they are not on file.
2. Open the customer and tap Edit.
3. Switch on Commission agent and enter their Default commission % — the rate they usually get. Save.
4. The customer now shows a Commission agent badge with their %, and gains a Commission tab and a Commission statement button.
5. To see all your agents, open Customers, tap the filter and set Customer Type to Agent. Each agent row shows their % badge.

Good to know

• The default % is only a starting point — you can change it on each sale, repair or rent order.
• An agent can still buy from you and bring in repairs as a customer; their commission is kept apart from what they owe you.
• Seeing commission needs the customer commission view permission, and paying it needs the payout permission, so you can keep it to owners and managers.
