Suppliers
The mirror of Customers, for the people you buy from.
What it does
- Company name, contact person, phone, email and address, plus their tax or GST number.
- An opening balance, set as receivable or payable and dated, for money already outstanding when you start.
- A report covering purchases and payments, and a ledger statement with its own public share link.
- Collect and clear pending payments, in one go or individually.
- Wallet — credit you are holding with a supplier, usable against a future bill in the same way as a customer wallet.
Step-by-step
- Add a supplier — Create the record you will buy against.
- Edit a supplier — Keep the record current.
- Delete a supplier — Remove a record created by mistake.
- Find a supplier — Get to a supplier, or pull out everyone you owe.
- Pay a supplier — Settle what you owe — one bill, or all of them at once.
- Open a supplier report — Everything you have bought from one supplier, and everything you have paid them.
- Share a supplier statement — Agree the ledger with your supplier before you pay them.
- What the supplier sees — The page your supplier opens from the link, with no account.
Questions about suppliers
Can I see everything I owe one supplier?
Yes — the supplier report totals outstanding purchases, and pending payments can be cleared together.
