What the stock reports in Quikpair show

What you hold, what it is worth, what is not moving, and what to reorder.

Steps

1. Stock Summary is what you hold now, by product.
2. Stock Valuation puts a value on it, using what you actually paid.
3. Stock Aging groups it by Age bracket, so slow stock is obvious.
4. Stock Movement lists every in and out, filterable by reason.
5. Low Stock is the reorder list — everything at or below its alert level.

   

Good to know

• Stock Aging is the report that finds money sitting on a shelf: parts bought a year ago that have never sold.
• Low Stock says All products are adequately stocked when there is nothing to order.
