What the sales reports in Quikpair show

Six views of what you sold, from a daily total to which product earns you the most.

Steps

1. Sales Summary is the headline: what was invoiced, collected and still owed over a period.

   

2. Sales Performance trends that over time, so a bad month is visible against a good one.
3. Sales by Product shows what actually sells, with the quantity and the margin on each.
4. Sales by Customer ranks who spends the most with you.
5. Sales by Payment Method splits takings by cash, card, UPI, transfer or cheque.
6. Sales Returns lists what came back, and what it cost you.

Good to know

• Sales by Product is the reorder argument: it says what to keep in stock, not just what is in stock.
• Sales by Payment Method is the one to check against your bank: what the system says came in by transfer should match what arrived.
