How to transfer between accounts in Quikpair

Move money from the till to the bank, or between banks.

Steps

1. Open Account transfers and tap New Transfer.

   

   • 1 New Transfer

2. Under Route, choose the account it comes from and the one it goes to.

   

   • 1 TRANSFER AMOUNT

3. Set the Transfer amount and the date. Transferring shows what is about to move.
4. Add a reference number and a description so the entry explains itself later.
5. Save.

Good to know

• A transfer entered wrongly is reversed rather than deleted, so the trail stays intact.
• Transfers overview totals the transfers on the list, and Filter Transfers cuts them by account and by a From Date and To Date.
• Banking the day’s takings is a transfer, not a withdrawal: the money has not left the business, it has changed account.
