How to make a sale from a lane stop in Quikpair

Sell something at the door, with the sale counted against the round.

Steps

1. Open the lane and tap Add sale on the stop — the blue trolley beside Collect. A desktop row labels it Sale.

2. The sale opens with that customer already chosen, so there is no picking them off a list on the doorstep.
3. Add the products as you would at the counter, then finish the sale.
4. Take the money now if they are paying, or leave it on account — the balance then shows against their stop on the next round.
5. Back on the lane, Sold counts what went out on the round and Route due updates with anything still owing.

Good to know

• The lane is attached to the sale, not just the customer. That is what lets the day be reconciled by lane and by rep — what was sold against what was collected.
• Show nearby carries the same Add sale button, so a stop can be served out of order.
• Selling needs the sales create permission; a rep without it sees only Collect on the row.
